I'm more a fan of Napalm Death and The Locust, myself.
Marvel's Captain Marvel found its lead actress in Brie Larson, before the film got a director. But now the film can move forward with the addition of Mississippi Grind duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. I'm not too familiar with the work of grindcore band Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, as I'm more into grind styles like The Locust, but I've never heard a grind band from Mississippi before, so I'm open to it.
A quick search on Bandcamp led to zero results, but Marvel must've got their hands on some ultra rare demo cassette the band recorded in their garage or something to prove they're worthy of directing the movie. It's a bold move on Marvel's part. Though rare, it isn't unheard of as Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn was in a band called The Icons, so Marvel does have a thing for bringing musicians on as directors.
Captain Marvel is set to release on March 8, 2019.
