First Injustice 2 DLC Pack Reveals Final Two DC Characters, Before Stealth DC vs. Mortal Kombat Sequel Takes Over!!

Not even out yet, the first DLC of Injustice 2 reveals the final 2 DC characters to be added to the game: Starfire and Red Hood, while teasing a bunch characters from Mortal Kombat with the first MK character being Sub-Zero.

With only eleven days from release, Injustice 2 that by just having the game out itself would be enough. Nope, developer for the game, NetherRealm Studios has decided to already reveal the first batch of downloadable characters that'll be available to players (two more batches of DLC exclusive characters are planned). These first three characters will be free outright to players who've bought Digital Deluxe Edition, which costs $79.99. But, for those who want the other six, well unless you bought the $99.99 Ultimate Edition for this game which gives you these characters for "free". You're gonna have to fork over some dough.

So who's in the first batch of DLC? Starfire, Red Hood (which kind of spoils now the goings on in the Injustice 2 comic), and Sub-Zero. That's right. Just like the original Injustice: Gods Amongst Us we're getting another Mortal Kombat character included (Scorpion was included in the original game). You know, because with the vast assortment of fighters the DCU has. NetherRealm Studios has to include one of their fighters instead.

Here's the trailer for the DLC pack:

Now of course, in the final image we see the six other DLC fighters in shadow. Here's a clearer version of that picture:

Yes we're so getting more Mortal Kombat characters in this game since the silhouettes are clearly Johnny Cage Beast Boy, Cyrax Black Manta, Scorpion Batgirl, Raiden, Shao Kahn Azrael, and Mileena Cheshire or Mera. Not a single DC character who you think that might be crossed out. Thus we will be getting the DC vs. MK sequel that we always wanted, and so not more DC characters because who wants DC characters in a DC fighting game?!

Injustice 2 will be out on PS4 and X-Box One May 16.
