Nick Spencer Channels Donald Trump By Celebrating Despite Losing Popular Vote

There's a good chance Batman #21 topped Secret Empire #0 in April

Source: Twitter

Nick Spencer took to Twitter this morning to run a victory lap for Secret Empire #0 being the best-selling comic of April 2017, according to Comichron.

The world's leading rumormonger Rich Johnston brings up a good point (which is a hard sentence to write). While Secret Empire #0 did place above Batman #21, it's possible that it only happened due to Batman #21 getting two different listings on the chart, one for the lenticular cover and one for the regular cover, placing second and seventh, respectively. Diamond only creates separate listings for different cover costs and the lentiuclar cover was $3.99 compared to the regular's $2.99.

When exact sales numbers are released, we'll be able to get to the bottom of this.

Secret Empire #1 is out this week.
