A Sneak Peek At Godzilla From The 'Godzilla: Monster Planet' Anime

The big guy, appears to really be a big guy.

We've known about Godzilla's first anime project for a while, and although we've seen concept art and know the official title is Godzilla: Monster Planet (and is planned to be the first in a trilogy), we haven't seen the big guy himself. Well, that is, until today.

The official site has revealed a "design visual" of the King of the Monsters. The image is in black and white, and although recognizable as the big G, doesn't have a lot of detail of his face, nor does it really show his entire body (a good part of it is shown though)…

What we can see of his anime look is that he looks pretty massive. We suppose that makes since since he's been ruling the planet for some 20,000 years. It's good to be the king. It's unclear if this is the only form we'll see of him in the anime.

Godzilla: Monster Planet (or Kaiju Wakusei as the subtitle is in Japan) will stomp into Japanese theaters on November 17, 2017. If we're lucky, we will be able to get the movie on Netflix before the year ends.
