Each arc will be a brand new Goosebumps story.

Coinciding with its 25th anniversary, Goosebumps is coming to the comic book market. Released by IDW Publishing, each three-issue arc will feature a brand-new, self-contained story with rotating creative teams.

"My first reading thrill when I was a kid were the EC horror comics, Tales from the Crypt and The Vault of Horror," said R.L. Stine. "They introduced me to the excitement of reading. Now all these years later, I have another thrill--seeing my stories and characters come to life in a comic book series of their own."

With Goosebumps creator R.L. Stine busy writing Man-Thing for Marvel, the first arc, "Monsters at Midnight," will be written by Jeremy Lambert, with art by Chris Fenoglio. Each issue will feature variant covers by artists including Derek Charm, Drew Rausch, CP Wilson III, Cat Farris, and more.

Goosebumps #1 is set to release in October.
