'Avengers: Infinity War': Meet The

Their statues anyway…

Source: Various

We know that in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos (Josh Brolin) will be the big bad, but he will not be alone. We are not talking about nameless hordes of Chitauri though, no, he will have a few friends joining him against Earth's mightiest team (and friends)… Or should we say "children"?

That's how these characters were introduced at an unveiling during Disney's D23 Expo. Statues of the new characters, were uncloaked in front of an audience, and they are based on characters from the comics.

These "children of Thanos" are members of the Black Order aka. Cull Obsidian that were introduced in the New Avengers comic during the Infinity event. In the comic, the group had an extra member named Supergiant. The statues revealed were of Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, and Cull Obsidian (who was named Black Dwarf in the comics).

These characters are likely to be rendered in computer graphics via performance capture like their dad.

Also shown off at the unveiling was a new Infinity Gauntlet prop… with all of the stones adorning it. Uh oh…

Avengers: Infinity War will start in theaters May 4, 2018.
