SDCC: Mark Waid and Chris Samnee New Captain America Creative Team!

Pip! Pip! Captain America has a new creative team starting with #695.

Mark Waid is returning to Captain America (his first run was #444-449, Vol. 2 #1-23, Sentinel of Liberty #1-12, and other stuff). Then again, he seems to have knack coming to comics when they've turned evil (Daredevil) or been killed off (the Flash). Artist Chris Samnee has also been confirmed for the book and their run will start #695.

Here's what Waid said about what to expect: This is Steve listening to people to find out how they feel about him and what they want from him from now on."

All of this was all prophecized by not-American Ricch Johnston over at Bleeding Cool (which is where I got the photos above. Pip. Pip!).  Though this prophecy was two-fold. That Waid and Samnee were only going to be on this comic till #700 with Ta-Nehisi Coates starting his run with #701.
