Ian McShane Is Hellboy's New Daddy

McShane is joining David Harbour for the Hellboy reboot.

Hellboy is getting a reboot and every new reboot needs a new dad. Enter stage left Ian McShane, who will play Trevor Bruttenholm, the adoptive father of Hellboy, played by David Harbour. Bruttenholm was the founder of the Bureau Of Paranormal Research And Defense. In the first two Hellboy films, he was portrayed by John Hurt

The reboot, directed by Neil Marshall, sees the hero squaring off against a medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy humankind. The film is set to start filming in September in the United Kingdom and Bulgaria.

McShane can most recently be seen in American Gods and the John Wick movies.
