'Justice League': Batman's

Batman's got a new toy… and this time he's sharing.

Earlier this year, some possible locations, vehicles, and characters from the Justice League movie were leaked via leaked LEGO sets. Warner Bros appeared to have been pretty aggressive about the leak as the images were taken down shortly after. Since then, more about Justice League was revealed and the LEGO sets were officially listed by LEGO. Not every toy LEGO puts out is actually in the movies so one might have been skeptical by one of the sets, 76087 Flying Fox: Batmobile Airlift Attack, which showed a giant aircraft launching a Batmobile.

If you watch the Justice League trailer or San Diego Comic-Con  Sneak Peek though, you can catch glimpses of the ship (in the dark of course). So what does Batman need a mini-Helicarrier/The Bus for? Apparently to ferry his new friends around. Loner no more. Apparently, the ship is even bigger than the LEGO version which apparently can house one Batmobile, nay, the Flying Fox can house three!

Production designer Patrick Tatopoulos describes the aesthetic behind the aircraft:

"I didn’t want to do a sleek airplane; it needed to feel like an extremely avant-garde classic. With the maneuverability of a jet—but it can actually carry things."

In the first Justice League trailer, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) describes his power as being rich. Looks like he was out to prove that to his new friends with the Flying Fox. Tatopoulos provides more information on this flying fortress:

"The bottom part of the jet is a huge cargo bay, which the Batmobile sits in" … "The second floor is like a cultural center, with computer terminals. The third story is the cockpit. Whatever floor you are on, you can see [the other] two stories"

He also exclaims:

"You can put three Batmobiles in the lower part of it"

Whatever it is Batman is trying to do, it doesn't seem that he is worried about tying himself to Bruce Wayne, not with the Wayne Technologies branding on the side of the craft.

Justice League takes off in theaters November 17.
