Say Anything's Max Bemis To Write Marvel Legacy's Moon Knight

Emo musicians turned comic writers are a dime a dozen these days, and Max Bemis, the poor man's Gerard Way, has been slowly rising to the middle. News broke at the approved non-official Marvel PR wing Valnet Inc. Presents Comic Book Resources that Bemis is set to continue mediocrity writing Moon Knight as a part of Marvel Legacy. Joining him on the title is artist Jacen Burrows, who has worked with legendary names at Avatar Press.

Bemis' run on Moon Knight follows prestigious writers including Warren Ellis and Jeff Lemire, and less prestigious writers including Brian Michael Bendis. He is also the former lead singer of the band Say Anything, where he penned the lines, "I called her on the phone and she touched herself / I laughed myself to sleep." If his Moon Knight is anything like his music, we're in for a whiny ride.
