It's not your classic Sabrina.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch is making her return to television in The CW's 2018-2019 television season in The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. But this isn't your '90s Sabrina starring Melissa Joan Hart. This is your dark reboot to pair with your sexy Riverdale reboot. The new show will be written by Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer and Riverdale Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and directed by Lee Toland Krieger.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina draws from the Archie Comics series of the same name which focuses on Sabrina the Teenage Witch's occult origins. The dark coming-of-age story will be a one hour drama, as a companion show to Riverdale. The show will reportedly have a tone similar to Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist.

The Chilling Adventure of Sabrina is currently in script development.
