DC Relaunching Vertigo In 2018 For 25th Anniversary

Couldn't they just let the imprint die with dignity?

At their Meet The Publisher's panel, DC announced it would be relaunching the Vertigo Comics imprint in 2018 for its 25th anniversary. The relaunch will be overseen by Executive Editor Mark Doyle.

Vertigo, the once-notable imprint, is a shell of what it used to be, with the original universe rolled into main DC continuity and the establishment of new imprints including Young Animal. The imprint will release a meager three titles in November, Imaginary Fiends #1, American Way: Those Above And Those Below #4, and Astro City #49.
