Aftershock Going On 25 Date North American Signing Tour

That's more dates than comic books released.

Aftershock Comic announced a second half to their North American comics signing tour which starts today in Houston. Publisher/CCO Joe Pruett is visiting each of these stores, and in some cases bringing guests including Garth Ennis, Phil Hester, and Paul Jenkins.

"Why did I want to do this? Devote nine months of my life to flying around the country visiting comic book stores? Simple. We pride ourselves at AfterShock that our staff and creators are family," Pruett told Newsarama. "The retailers who sell our comics and their customers who buy our comics are important extensions of that family. Yet, I've never met most of them! You can't be part of a close-knit family if you've never even talked face-to-face before, right? So, that's what I'm doing. I'm going out to meet extended family members and creating a bond, so at the next family reunion I won't have to look at their name tag to figure out who they are. I'll recognize their faces."

Earlier stops on the 2017 tour included Dallas, San Diego, Nashville, San Antonio, Columbus, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Boston, Gettysburg, York, Baltimore, and Knoxville.
