DC's latest goal to climb back up the sales charts is to poach Marvel's talent, which starts after their acquisition of Brian Michael Bendis. In August, DC co-publisher Jim Lee tweeted a picture of lunch between himself and Jonathan Hickman. Now, it seems that DC has made Hickman an offer, asking Hickman to make multiple pitches.

Hickman has been a major player at Marvel from 2009-2015, setting the table for Secret Wars. He tweeted out a picture from Dead Poet's Society, where the students express loyalty to their teacher, which could parallel Bendis' move to DC.

Aside from his long-run at Marvel, Hickman has been constantly busy with creator-owned work at Image on titles including The Manhattan ProjectsEast of West, and The Black Monday Murders.
