Marvel has ended its relationship with Gazillion Entertainment, the company behind Marvel Heroes

"We regret to inform our Marvel Heroes fans that we have ended our relationship with Gazillion Entertainment, and that the Marvel Heroes games will be shut down. We would like to sincerely thank the players who joined the Marvel Heroes community, and will provide any further updates as they become available."

Marvel Heroes, released in 2013, is a free-to-play MMO for PC, which was ported to PS4 and Xbox this year. Over the last month, the studio stopped talking about progress on the game, missing four of its weekly community updates, plus the game's Halloween event and upcoming Thor Ragnarok movie tie-in content.
