No one can say that the richest man in Kentucky Robert Kirkman isn't an innovator as he's built up a media empire centered around one comic series that overstayed its welcome. His latest endeavor is a number one issue aimed towards those in his new tax bracket. Oblivion Song #1 has a collector's edition that will run you a cool $200.

But what does a $200 first issue get you? A comic with a $200 price tag on the cover, an art print, a pin, and a statue of protagonist Nathan Cole, a character with which you don't have any attachment towards yet.

A decade ago 300,000 citizens of Philadelphia were suddenly lost in Oblivion. The government made every attempt to recover them but after many years they gave up. Nathan Cole... won't. He makes daily trips, risking his life to try and rescue those lost, alone and afraid, living in the apocalyptic hellscape of Oblivion. But maybe... Nathan is looking for something else? Why can't he resist the siren call of the Oblivion Song?

Oblivion Song is co-created and drawn by Lorenzo De Felici. The first issue is set to release March 7, 2018.
