After the lack of success of Justice League, DC Film head Jon Berg left his position, becoming a a production partner with Roy Lee, the producer of The Lego Movie and It. Warner Bros. has filled the position with Walter Hamada, who previously served for a decade as a production executive at New Line, a division of Warner Bros.
While at New Line, Hamada oversaw It, The Gallows, and The Conjuring. He maintains a close relationship with James Wan, director of Aquaman. Hamada will work alongside Geoff Johns who remains President and Chief Creative Officer at DC.
