DC has finally made up their mind regarding the hardcover version of Action Comics #1000. The celebratory issue, which was originally solicited at $30, then bumped up to $50, will officially be $30, given DC doesn't change their mind again. The issue also has a Final Order Cutoff date of February 5th, giving retailers the time to change their orders.

Given the lower price point, Action Comics #1000 won't include the poster included with the original solicitation. The poster, which apparently worth $20, was to feature all one thousand Action Comics covers and will now be offered separately. It will include numerous classic Superman stories, as well as literary essays from Pulitzer Prize winner Jules Feiffer and Paul Levitz.

Action Comics #1000: 80 Years Of Superman as a 384-page hardcover is set to release April 11, 2018. DC is also releasing a floppy version written by Peter Tomasi and Dan Jurgens, that will draw on all kinds of talent from the comics industry, including a story written by Geoff Johns and Richard Donner. This floppy edition is oversized at $5.99 and is set to release in March 2018.
