Marvel Trying To Unload Copies Of Marville On Retailers

They're offering 1000 TPBs for $2000 but its Marvel's choice.

In an attempt to get rid of unsold backstock, Marvel is offering retailers a hell of a deal: 1,000 TPBs for only $2,000. The only downside is that Marvel gets to choose what the books are, meaning retailers will likely get copies of MarvilleAvataars: Covenant of the Shield, and NFL Superpro. The offer claims that a pallet won't have more than one carton of any specific title.

This offer is fulfilled by Diamond, so you're just as likely to have your delivery lost as delivered to your store. Deeper discounts are available when multiple pallets are ordered, getting as low as $1.50 per book, which is nearly a third the cost of a normal single floppy issue.
