'Friday the 13th: The Game' Reveals Roy Burns & New Pinehurst Map!

Gun Media reveals a new Jason-- who's actually not Jason. Plus a new map as well! For no cost! The DLC will hit the game on January 30th!

Friday the 13th: The Game just jabs and twists my 80s horror genre bone. It's obvious that Gun Media (the company that makes this game) have treated the property more right than it has been in a LONG TIME. We already know of one future skin coming, but today we were gifted with yet another and a new map too!

Today, Gun Media posted on the Facebook group for the game a trailer showing off "Jason" from Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985) aka Roy Burns aka the movie that broke Greg Anderson-Elysee from reviewing anymore Friday the 13th movies years ago on this very site with me (like I'd forget that). But not only does the trailer introduce Roy, but also a new map: Pinehurst (again featured in that same movie).

Here's the gloriously cheesy 80s-inspired trailer (a bit of a warning. This video contains some nsfw violence):

You just gotta love the homages from the movie Gun Media dropped in this trailer. The DLC will hit on January 30th and will be FREE to anyone who has the game (aka someone me who owns the game).

Until then have this glorious cheesy 80s movie trailer from the movie itself:

Friday the 13th: The Game is avaiable on X-Box One, PS4, and Steam.
