Brian Michael Bendis Plans To Overstay Welcome On Batman

Welcome might be too strong of a word.

Source: Tumblr

Brian Michael Bendis is taking some time in between finishing his final Marvel issues to answer some Tumblr questions. This time it was appropriately enough about the possibility of a Dardevil/Batman crossover now that he's moved to DC.

Q thatadamtaylor asked:

Now that you're moving to DC, any chance you can talk them into letting you do that Daredevil/Batman crossover that was talked about years ago?

A

I'll do better than that. What if I were to tell you that my daredevil run was one half of the Batman crossover and now I'm going to do the other half and you guys will be able to put it together.

Bendis wrote roughly 60 issues of Daredevil which was about roughly 60 issues too many. To match this, expect about five years worth of poorly dialogued Batman issues.
