Although we know that Ant-Man and the Wasp are in some trouble and on the run in their self-titled movie, the trailer didn't give that many other clues about what the film's story will be. The film's synopsis a little more of a clue:
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: "Ant-Man and The Wasp." In the aftermath of "Captain America: Civil War," Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
But what is that "urgent new mission"?
Well, if the today's Marvel solicitation for Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: The Art of the Movie HC Slipcase is correct, it sounds like a rescue mission:

It isn't a complete surprise that the mission would involve Janet Van Dyne, as the role was cast with Michelle Pfieffer, but it's interesting to get confirmation. It also looks like Michael Douglas will be getting his wish.
How do you feel about getting to see OG Wasp in the sequel?
Ant-Man and the Wasp flies into theaters July 6.
