Kurt Eichenwald And D&C Went To War This Weekend

When two losers go to battle, we all win.

The Twitterverse was set aflame again this past weekend, as two gentlemen found themselves at odds. Kurt Eichenwald is a journalist who has worked for Vanity FairNewsweek, and The New York Times. He was fired from The Times after it was discovered he paid $2,000 to a source and didn't inform his editorsRichard Meyer aka Diversity & Comics is a veteran and Youtube channel with videos that include MS. MARVEL Is SJW Propaganda On Almost Every Page, ICEMAN Coming Out Is Worse Than You Could Possibly Imagine, and Words Cannot Express How Much I Hate TRANSFORMERS.

Last week, Eichenwald tweeted that the worst person on Twitter is Michelle Perez, writer of the upcoming Image Comics graphic novel, The Pervert with artist Remy Boydell, after she tweeted "it sucks that an IED didnt blow him up" in regard to Meyer after he mocked her in a "faux tranny voice" and compared the size of their wrists, which is recapped in a video titled Image Comics Writer Michelle Perez Fantasizes About Me Being Killed By An IED In Afghanistan.

Eichenwald, who has won the George Polk Award for Excellence in Journalism twice, then followed up with a tweet about not knowing when comics became political, which we believe started when Action Comics #1 was released.

Eichenwald then spent the better part of 48 hours defending Meyer and calling the "comics insiders" who responded mentally ill.

Then in an interesting turn of events, Eichenwald flipped on Meyer, threatening to sue him.

Eichenwald continued to email Meyer multiple times.emails.jpg

Even threatening to go to war with him.

But it turned out to not be a threat, but apparently a fact.

So what happened? In a video titled Left-Wing Journalist SHOCKED By The Violent Extremism Of SJW Comic Book Pros, Meyer said, "I would not leave my kids around him for a split-second. I don't know if he's done anything actionable, but there's been little...you can Google it. He's tied to stuff. It gets grimy. If he was your cousin, you'd invite him to the picnic, but you'd keep an eye on him. I'm not saying he's a criminal, but he's got some weird sketchy parts of his past that's reoccuring."

It seems in his email to Meyer earlier, Eichenwald viewed this statement as an implication that he (Eichenwald) was a child molester.

In his response, Meyer then says that he was just stating his opinion and to his knowledge Eichenwald didn't do anything actionable.

The best part of this whole situation is that no matter the outcome, for now these two are focusing their efforts on each other rather than people who don't deserve it.
