Netflix Gets In On The Original Superhero Action With Past Midnight

Keanu Reeves is in talks to star as the vigilante superhero.

Not to be confused with the 1991 neo-noir thriller of the same name starring Rutger Hauer and Paul Giamatti, Netflix has purchased Past Midnight from Ratchet & Clank writer TJ Fixman. The network is in talks with Keanu Reeves to star in the vigilante superhero movie. The Russo Brothers will produce, while Rick Famuyiwa, once attached to The Flash, will direct.

Reeves is no stranger to vigilante roles as he starred in two John Wick movies with the third to release next year. Famuyiwa's next project will be to write and direct an adaption of Charles Burn's graphic novel Black Hole
