Writer Dan Slott's move from Spider-Man to Iron Man was announced a few months ago, before Marvel's "fresh start" was formally made official. Now that a  few  fresh  start  titles  have  been  announced, Slott is making his title official. It won't be Invincible, and only sort of adjectiveless, it will be Tony Stark: Iron Man.

We joked a earlier that Slott's Iron Man would be the best Cyberman comic ever, however Slott has a couple of different influences in mind:

"You're going to see a superhero comic that's somewhere between Rick & Morty and Black Mirror."

Slott also repeated his thought that Tony made himself into the thing he wants, a superhero. Like Peter Parker in his Amazing Spider-Man series, Slott says Stark will be introducing many suits of armor in the series, "hundreds" of different armors. The fresh start isn't getting rid of any of the old endings either:

"Everything counts" … "We're going to play fair with all that's happened to Tony from the very beginning all the way through to the most current runs. If you're a longtime Marvel fan, I want you to know: ALL the continuity counts. The legacy counts. But if you're one of the billions of people on this Earth who only knows Iron Man from the movies, you can jump on right here for a fresh start."

Joining the writer on the new Iron Man title will be artist Valerio Schiti. Schiti's comments on what kind of things he was looking at to inspire the new armors warmed this reporter's heart:

"… animated series like Transformers, [to] manga like Gundam or Ghost in the Shell, to robots like Mazinger Z or Steel Jeeg"

It wasn't specified when Tony Stark: Iron Man will launch, but if it is like the other fresh starts, it will be sometime this Summer.
