Back in February, the fate of Maggie on The Walking Dead was up in the air as actress Lauren Cohan's contract was up and she signed onto the ABC pilot Whiskey Cavalier. Her TWD co-star Khary Payton took to Instagram telling AMC to "pay the woman."

Pay the woman.

Fans can rest easy knowing she'll be back to protect The Hilltop in season nine, as Cohan confirms her return.

"I'm going back," Cohan told EW. "There's a lot more Maggie story to tell." As for what viewers can expect? "You know we're not allowed to tell you anything, but it's good," she teased.

Future fans of Whiskey Cavalier still need to worry though, as the show hasn't been picked up to series.
