Last week, it was revealed that DC Comics was silently removing digital download codes from their comics with a $3.99 price tag, while any comics at $2.99 already didn't have a code. All DC Universe titles going forward, physical and digital, will release with a minimum price tag of $3.99. These titles include Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman, Suicide Squad, Detective Comics, Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps, Harley Quinn, Superman, Action Comics, and Injustice.
Meanwhile, DC's New Age of DC Heroes (Curse of Brimstone, Damage, Immortal Men, New Challengers, Sideways, Silencer, The Terrifics, and The Unexpected) and its kids titles will remain at $2.99 after significant promotion based on that price point.
The Outhouse can EXXXCLUSIVELY reveal that the reason for the price increase across the line is due to the hiring of Brian Michael Bendis. Our mole on the inside, Jeff Geohns, relayed a recent snippet of a conversation from Dan Didio where he said, "Do you have any idea how expensive Portland is? Drop the line that was $2.99!"
