Just in time for last year's movie release, Gallery 13 is set to republish Stephen King's The Dark Tower comics as "graphic novels" because comics is too lowbrow. Originally published by Marvel, the comics ran for 91 issues from 2007 to 2017.

In a statement, King said:

"I'm delighted to see my stories in this exciting format, where they can reach new readers."

The first cycle of The Dark Tower, Beginnings, consists of five series all co-written by Peter David and Robin Furth, with art from Jae Lee and Richard Isanove. The second, The Gunslinger, consists of six series, co-written by David and Furth with art from Isanove.

The new collections will begin with Beginnings this summer, with The Gunslinger Born droppng Aug. 14 and another collection every two weeks. The Gunslinger  cycle is set to republish starting in spring 2019.
