As the old saying goes, if you want something done right, you do it yourself. With bigger news comics news sites taking after smaller, better ones and being less afraid to criticize companies, DC Comics has taken to their own blog to run a positive review of Man of Steel #6 by a DC comics staffer.
Writing your own reviews is a great way to generate hype. Not many publishers have used the tactic, but comics creators have been complimenting themselves for years to much success.

Beyond this being a DC Comic that DC thinks you should read, there's not much more the company felt comfortable publishing on their site. Though admittedly this is a more in depth review than anything The Outhouse has published since June 22.
The highlight of the positive review comes in the line, "I think I have more questions now than I did when I first cracked the pages of THE MAN OF STEEL #1 six weeks ago! What gives?" Less a criticism on the reviewer, this shows Brian Michael Bendis' inability to write a coherent story. Just how many issues is it going to take Bendis to start answering questions?
