Unsure of what to publish next, Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief Akira Yoshida was gazing dreamily at this year's box office gross when suddenly an idea hit him. Why not publish a crossover book featuring the leads of the #1 and #4 movies of the year?
In an Outhouse EXXXCLUSIVE, Yoshida bowed and then said, "Black Panther grossed nearly $700 million this year and Deadpool 2 grossed over $300 million. Fans clearly want these characters in front of their eyeballs. I'm conservatively estimating we'd make $1 billion if we combine these characters."
Writer Daniel Kibblesmith and artist Ricardo Lopez Ortiz are the team behind the crossover which will see Deadpool in need of vibranium so he goes to the source Black Panther's kingdom of Wakanda.
Black Panther vs Deadpool #1 is set to release October 3.
