SDCC: 'Titans' Trailer & DC Streaming Service Take Dark Turn!

Black. All important hero shows start with a black screen... And music... Edgy, scary music that would make a parent or studio executive nervous... And logos... Really long and dramatic logos... Warner Bros. Why not "Warner Brothers"? I don't know...

The first show of the new DC Universe Streaming service is here! Whatever if it wants a light to be cast on it or not! Maybe locking out every other country that isn't the US from this might be a good thing? From the man who previously destroyed the Batman franchise and just walked away from the garbage heap that was Transformers movie one, Akira Goldman. Though Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti also created this series, let's just focus on the darkness.

The bleak unending color that is total opposite of what Goldman has given us in the past. The color that's at the end of the spectrum, but we were really hoping for plaid. Wait, are we sure he really did this? I mean. Look at this trailer. It looks like the opposite of everything he does.

Wait. He really is apart of this?

Okay. Here's the new trailer that keeps up the tradition of "fuck" and "Batman" in the same sentence for the last three years:

No word on when it'll premiere this year, other than it'll be later this year. The other new bit of news we learned today is that there's a preorder for the new streaming service. If you pre-order now you will get the entire service for an entire year at just $74.99 (not including taxes).  If not, well you'll have to dish out $7.99 a month-- that's not too bad actually. You can pre-order the streaming service either at the DC Booth #1915 or for those of us not there can go directly here to register.
