Marvel is bring Old Man Logan to a close with issue #50 in October, but that won't be the end of the character as the publisher is launching Dead Man Logan in November. The 12 issue series is billed as the final Old Man Logan story. Until Marvel decides to reboot it, that is.
Ed Brisson is handling writing duties on the series and recently talked to approved PR outlet Newsarama about the series.
"This is it. This is going to be the big, final Old Man Logan story. Logan's dying and still has a lot of unfinished business to attend to. Dead Man Logan will largely be Logan tying up loose ends — loose ends like Mysterio, the man who, in Old Man Logan's timeline, caused him to kill all of the X-Men. That's not a box that Logan's going to leave unchecked."
In the original timeline, Mysterio created an illusion at the X-Mansion causing Wolverine to attack his fellow X-Men while he was under the impression they were supervillains.
While Dead Man Logan will be the final Old Man Logan story, don't worry that you won't be able to get your Wolverine fix as Marvel is launching the Return of Wolverine event next month.
Dead Man Logan #1 is set to release in November.
