World's Saddest Easter Egg Didn't Work Out

A marriage proposal was hidden in Spider-Man.

Spider-Man fan Tyler Schultz had his dream come true when Insomniac Games included a marriage proposal to his girlfriend Madision in the new Spider-Man game.

His dreams were dashed though as the couple split weeks before the game's release.

Jacinda Chew, Art Director at Insomniac, offered to change the sign in a new patch.

Schultz told Kotaku that he wants to replace the wedding proposal with the name of his grandmother, who has passed from cancer and helped ignite Schultz's passion for Spider-Man.
