Writer Benjamin Percy took to Twitter Tuesday to announce his departure from Nightwing with issue #50. He didn't give a specific reason behind the change, but it does coincide with The Russo Brothers optioning his sci-fi novel trilogy The Comet Cycle for a film franchise.

Earlier this month, DC Comics teased a change for Dick Grayson, with a buzzcut hairstyle and a Bat symbol-shaped scar on the side of his head with the caption, "Some scars run deeper than others."
