Universal Music To Reissue Hip-Hop Albums With Marvel Variant Artwork

Because you've always wanted a 50 Cent album with Iron Man on the cover.

Marvel released their first hip-hop variant covers in 2015 and ran the gimmick into the ground enough that they moved to rock albums. But not ones to let already paid for artwork go to waste, Marvel and Universal Music Enterprises are partnering to release hip-hop albums with the variant artwork as covers. The initial wave features three albums to be released December 7.

50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die Tryin' will feature the artwork from Brian Stelfreeze's cover for Invinicble Iron Man #1.

LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out will feature the artwork by Tim Bradstreet for Punisher #1.

GZA's Liquid Swords will feature the artwork from Denys Cowan, Bill Sienkiewicz, and Chris Sotomayor's Contest of Champions #1.
