Comics' favorite chaos magician Grant Morrison has finally gotten his own Hollywood deal, having signed an exclusive deal with Universal Cable Productions, the company behind Happy and Brave New World.
Morrison's first project will be an adaptation of The Invisibles, for a yet to be known network. The series loosely follows the doings of a single cell of The Invisible College, a secret organization battling against physical and psychic oppression using time travel, magic, meditation, and physical violence.
He'll also develop and produce original content for traditional networks and streaming services. The second season of Happy is in production at SyFy and Morrison is teaming with Amblin Entertainment to adapt Aldous Huxley's Brave New World for SyFy as well.
