Surprising people around the world, including the cast of the show themselves, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been renewed for a seventh season, despite the fifth season's finale only registering 1.88 million viewers. Meanwhile the sixth season is set to air in July 2019 and the seventh season set to air in 2020. Both seasons will be 13 episodes long.

Of note is that actor Clark Gregg isn't listed as appearing in the seventh season. Possible spoilers for season six?

In an EXXXCLUSIVE Chloe Bennet told The Outhouse, "I'm just as surprised as you are. I'm trying to move on with my life, but Disney has us locked into a billion year and one day contract. The one extra day is to top Scientology's Sea Org's billion year contract. It stems from Scientology's decision to call their government infiltration Operation Snow White, which made Disney's sale of Snow White movies drop."

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, and Jeff Ward.
