Sony appears to be going full swing with plans for more movies using the Spider-Man related intellectual property. Next month, we'll get the first animated feature with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and next year we'll get a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Further out, we're poised to get movies featuring Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, Silk, Nightwatch, and maaaybe Black Cat and Silver Sable, and Jackpot; and seeing how well it did, probably another Venom.
Well, it looks like Sony is not content with that slate of movies, as they are reported to be working on another new animated feature: Spider-Women. It's not specified which Spider-Women will be featured in the movie, but it is said that it "will focus on three generations of women with Spidey powers". Deadline speculates that Spider-Gwen aka. Ghost-Spider will be one of the characters.
In addition to that a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is already in the works, with Joaquim Dos Santos as director. No release date for this or Spider-Women has been announced.
