Disney has found a new way to repurpose the sounds of previously made Star Wars films in a new series of animated shorts titled Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. This is part of a new (Force) push of content for a younger audience, pairing with the launch of a new website for kids (StarWarsKids.com) and a new Star Wars Kids YouTube channel on which the shorts will stream. The first six shorts will launch on November 30.
Besides the new action-packed animation accompanying the dialogue, sound effects, and music from the movies, the shorts will be accompanied by "educational add-ons" to help the nerds kids learn more about the Star Wars… galaxy. More episodes will air stream in December, and throughout 2019.
But that's not all! Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is actually a "multi-pronged initiative" which will include a line of toys debuting December 1, exclusively available at Walmart. The campaign will culminate with the release of the final chapter of the Skywalker saga, Star Wars Episode IX.
