With the Reign of the Supermen about to premiere (next Sunday in theaters for a Fathom event. You're damn right I'm going to this screening to see CYBORG SUPERMAN ON A BIG SCREEN), the spotlight on the next Warner Bros. Animated DC movie has begun to be cast.
Justice League vs. the Fatal Five is intended to arrive sometime in the spring (late March/April probably) and today the voice cast for the movie was revealed (as per the Hollywood Reporter).
Reprising their roles from the Justice League/JLU cartoon are George Newbern, Susan Eisenberg, and Kevin Conroy as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. Rounding out the heroes are Diane Guerrero, Daniela Bobadilla, Kevin Michael Richardson as Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern, Miss Martian, and Mr. Terrific.
The Fatal Five will be voiced by Peter Jessop, Tom Kenny, Sumalee Montano, and Philip Anthony Rodriguez as Thorak, Bloodsport, the Persuader, Emerald Empress, and Mano.
Given the villains in this are foes of the Legion of Superheroes, it isn't at all surprising to find out that the heroic group also will be showing up in the movie with Elyes Gabe, Tara Strong, and Noel Fisher Star Boy, Saturn Girl, and Brainiac 5.
The plot will involve the Fatal Five going back into the past to take out newly minted GL Jessica Cruz with Star Boy acting as a "Kyle Reese" of sorts to prevent them from changing the timeline.
Here are a few screencaps revealed as well from the movie (again via the THR):
