Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is going back to the cinemas closer than you think. Oh, we know that Paramount was going to try again with the property after the 2016 film bombed at the box office. The new attempt might even begin shooting at the end of this year for a 2020 release!
As for who is on board for this latest venture well, at the Critic Choice Awards last night, Variety tweeted this after talking to Quiet Place producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller (who also produced the last two films, but you know when MICHAEL BAY is also producing the movies. You tend to forget that fact admit the ravaging of childhoods dreams Bay has performed on you):
So yeah, that and the fact this will be written by Andrew Dodge is about all we know about the reboot film now. Still, there is plenty of time in 2019 for casting and reveal of who can "shell" this film as director.
Of course, no matter what movie we get we shall always have the 1990 live action and 2007 animated movie to fall back on.
