The Green Arrow TV project continues to move forward as the CW has opted for a pilot and has retitled it as Arrow.
Green Lantern writers Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim are attached to the project which will be a retelling of the Jaded Archer's origin. That's right, this won't be a continuing of Justin Hartely's Smallville Green Arrow either. This will be a new origin with a "modern retelling" of the comic book character.
The only other news attached to the project now is David Nutter has been "attached" to direct the pilot.
