Controversy! Liefeld vs. Newsarama - Is the Romance Over?

Living legend Rob Liefeld fired back at Newsarama today after disparaging comments in an interview about Extreme Comics!

In a roundtable interview with the new Extreme creators, Prophet writer Brandon Graham had some not so nice things to say about the writer of DC's Catwoman. Like this, for example:
It's all about owning your shit. I don't have any problem with DC's Catwoman because of the content; it's because the dork from fuckin' MTV's Real World is a shitty writer. That's what bothers me.
Newsarama edited out these and other comments by Graham, which makes sense if they don't want to offend DC... but it seems that they left in comments by Newsarama writer Zack Smith himself about Extreme Comics:
Well, the Extreme books of the 1990s were known to deal in certain stereotypes regarding women's – and let's face it, men's – chests. And rear ends, and guns, and shoulder pads, and feet that were always off-panel....what are the challenges in moving beyond that stereotype.
Liefeld fired back on Twitter:

Some newsarama correcs, mostly attributed to my good buddy Tim Seely. 1) the Joe Casey Youngblood shipped on time. 2) Bloodsport is not over
I do however agree with @joekeatinge that I don't dwell on the past, so on 10 minutes, this will pass. Doesn't change that New Extreme rocks
And to Zack Smith, @thezacksmith,Newsarama interviewer, you are a complete douche bag. Your description of Extreme was cliched and total BS

And Newsarama mogul Lucas Siegel fired back at Rob:

And Rob finished with:
Funny, that the interviewer censored a negative comment that attacked another publishers work but resolved to crap on the Extreme history.

that is correct @LucasSiegel his opening question in part 3 sealed the deal.
Looks like Rob will be doing his Rama press only with the "beautiful and talented" Vaneta Rogers from now on.
What do you think, Outhousers? Did Zack Smith cross the line? Did Rob overreact? This reporter's going with the former.
