GOLDEN APPLE COMICS SLICES INTO SAMURAI'S BLOOD
On February 29th, starting at 6:00 P.M., Golden Apple Comics present an autograph signing with Owen Wiseman, for the release of SAMURAI'S BLOOD VOL1 PAPERBACK from Image Comics and Benaroya Publishing. In addition, Golden Apple Comics and Owen Wiseman will be giving way FREE copies of Samurai's Blood #1 comic book for readers looking for a taste of something new and exciting from the Image Comics brand.
Set in feudal Japan, an era when lineage defined you, SAMURAI'S BLOOD involves three teenagers who must make their way through the world hiding their identities in order to find their destinies. As their village burns behind them, they are headed for a city they'd heard about only in stories. The three young samurai must now struggle to stay alive and take vengeance on the evil usurper who has destroyed the rest of their clan and the only world they'd ever known. Will they rise on the tides of vengeance, or they will they fall on the swords of fate?
The critics have raved about SAMURAI'S BLOOD:
"I'll be picking up the 6-issue run of Samurai's Blood...I'd suggest you do the same." – IGN
"Samurai's Blood is just another example of all the great stuff Image Comics is putting together this year...I recommend the entire series." – Comic Book Bin
"One of the best things about Samurai's Blood is its strong period feel, which is carried in particular by Nam Kim's idealized yet realistic art and Jo Chen's more expressionistic covers." – Playback STL
SAMURAI'S BLOOD VOL1 PAPERBACK autograph event will take place in Los Angeles at Golden Apple Comics on February 29th, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at 7018 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. For more information, please call 323-658-6047.

ABOUT OWEN WISEMAN
Owen Wiseman writes graphic novels, screenplays, and prose. Owen was raised by hippies in the Pacific Northwest, and fed a steady diet of appropriate books and inappropriate movies. In seventh grade, he was accidentally put into a Japanese class, and the venerable Furado-sensei convinced him to stay. He taught Owen about the language, culture, and fascinating history of this complex and beautiful island nation, and Furado-sensei's passion for the Japanese culture triggered Owen's love for it as well.

About the Author - SuperginraiX
SuperginraiX is the biggest sap on The Outhousers' payroll (wait, we get paid?). He reads every issue of every crappy Marvel crossover so you don't have to. Whats worse is that he pays for his books, thus condoning Marvel's behavior. If The Outhouse cared for his well being at all, they'd try and get him into some sort of rehab center. But, alas, none of us even know how to say his name. For a good time, ask Super why Captian America jumped off the Helicarrier in Fear Itself. Super lives in the frozen wastland that is Minnesota with 15% of the state's population living under his roof: a wife he makes wear an Optimus Prime mask, two gremlins, and his mother-in-law.
