Kaso Comics' new adventurer Infantryman, wielding his blade as an adversary of evil, premieres in Indie Comics Magazine's Spring Issue, scheduled for preorder in Diamond's April 2012 Previews under Aazurn Publishing.

New York state based publisher Anthony Cacioppo and frequent collaborator Chuck Foulds will present Infantryman's origin story in Indie Comics Magazine, the first in-print appearance of the new character.

"This is the third time Kaso comic stories have appeared in our magazine and we love to have them," said Indie Comics Magazine Publisher Gary Scott Beatty. "Chuck's stark illustration style, with its expanses of black ink, looks gorgeous in Indie Comics Magazine's quality black and white format."

Infantryman is a Centurion cursed by an ancient wizard. "May you wander, beyond the touch of time, until evil walks the Earth no more." Currently protector of a major American city, Infantryman is not unapproachable by past evil, though separated by centuries.

"Another reason we like to see Kaso comics in Indie Comics Magazine is the company's variety of themes and characters," said Beatty. "Publisher, writer, editor and inker Anthony Cacioppo has released archaeological adventure The Risen and the Dead, suspense tale Twisted, creature of destruction The Indestructible Man, espionage thriller Matt Burton-Agent Zero and more."

Kaso art books include Heroic Fantasy: Paintings by Marcus Boas and the artist collection Pulp SF Pinups. Add to that Kaso's Action Anatomy artist sourcebook, posters, CDs, apparel and even Strathmore comic book layout pages and storyboard templates.

"Kaso's writers can deliver done-in-one stories, something I find lacking in most of the indie talent in the marketplace today," said Beatty. "As with all our stories, short biographies and contact information are included so readers can easily seek out more of the creators' work."  Kaso products can be purchased at KasoComics.com.

Indie Comics Magazine's Spring Issue will feature eight complete stories, from creators as diverse as Terry Cronin (Students of the Unusual), Eisner and Harvey nominee Douglas Paszkiewicz (Mad magazine), Australia's Paul Bradford (Undercurrent) and Italian creator Maddalena Carrai (Creepy Gaga).

An alternate cover from Douglas Paszkiewicz will receive limited distribution through comic shops as well, said Beatty. "Arsenic Lullaby is Pasz's comedy that is too twisted for Mad. Expect that kind of cover!"

Indie Comics Magazine is 64 pages of the best story and art from today's independent comic book creators. No huge overprint, no digital version, no back issue sales, April's Previews under Aazurn Publishing is the ONLY way comic readers can get Indie Comics Magazine's Spring Issue! About the Author - SuperginraiX

SuperginraiX is the biggest sap on The Outhousers' payroll (wait, we get paid?). He reads every issue of every crappy Marvel crossover so you don't have to. Whats worse is that he pays for his books, thus condoning Marvel's behavior. If The Outhouse cared for his well being at all, they'd try and get him into some sort of rehab center. But, alas, none of us even know how to say his name. For a good time, ask Super why Captian America jumped off the Helicarrier in Fear Itself. Super lives in the frozen wastland that is Minnesota with 15% of the state's population living under his roof: a wife he makes wear an Optimus Prime mask, two gremlins, and his mother-in-law.
