Comics Alliance briefly reported earlier today that Bryan Lee O'Malley will be announcing that his popular Scott Pilgrim series is being re-released in full color hardbacks beginning in August 2012. However, the website promptly pulled the article only a short time later, confusing hipsters across the globe. While this intrepid reporter is slightly skeptical due to the story's proximity to April Fool's Day, I was able to obtain three colored pages from the alleged hardcover. When asked, one hipster said of the news. "Whatever, I read Scott Pilgrim before it was in color."
Stay tuned to the Outhouse to see whether this is a legit story or simply a cruel prank designed to ironically hug on the second-hand heartstrings of hipsters everywhere.
