The sequel to Sin City is officially moving forward.

Yeah, this WAS announced at last year's San Diego Comic Con... and then fell off the radar. Nearly a year later, after some rewrites by Departed writer William Monahan, Dimension Films announced that the film was ready to start filming... well, as soon as they hire some actors. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are totally psyched though. Rodriguez said, "I have wanted to re-team with Frank Miller and return to the world he created since the day we wrapped the original, but have felt a duty to the fans to wait until we had something truly exceptional that would meet and exceed what have become epic expectations. A Dame To Kill For will certainly be worth the wait."
Oh yeah, so that's the name. A Dame to Kill For is also the title of one of one of the most well-known Sin City stories by Miller, though the movie, like the first, will likely feature other stories too, as well as some promised new material.
"Blllaaarrrrghhhh fucking pansies!" commented Miller, who is crazy.
