President Obama made some startling comments on The View. Check them out here!
While President Barack Obama may rely on key demographics such as women and the middle class for his upcoming election, his view on superheroes may reveal where his true alliegances lie.
When the President appeared on the menopausal pressure cooker known as The View, he was asked to name three superheroes from the Avengers movie after he disclosed that he had seen the movie instead of saving the world economy.
Unsurprisingly, Obama rattled off Captain America, the Hulk and Iron Man, three of the protagonists from the movie. Keen pundits noted that these three heroes represented military interests, scientific research and the infamous 1%.
Left off the list were Hawkeye, Thor and the Black Widow, representing middle class archers, religious folks and women. Whether this is an indication of the incumbent's view of these groups remains to be seen.
Check out the clip below and make your own determination whether the President is deliberately omitting women from his list.
When asked to respond, Republican candidate Mitt Romney reportedly said "Everyone knows the Avengers! Batman, Spawn and Richie Rich are all members, right?"
