Justice League Gets Violent: The Game!

Injustice: Gods Among Us was announced today.

The first trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us was released today on Gamespot.  The game will feature various DC heroes and villains fighting against each other in Mortal Kombat style combat, which makes sense as it's being produced from Netherrealm Studios, the makers of last year's Mortal Kombat reboot.  Confirmed characters include Batman, Superman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy.  The game will be released in 2013.  No word on whether there will be a "warm and fuzzy" DC game to accompany it, but seeing as it features DCnU costumes and designs, we're doubtful.

Check out the trailer below.
