Get your fix of entertainment aimed at pre-teen girls with Strawberry Shortcake on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch!
This reporter has no idea whether there is crossover between adult male fans of My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake, but like all things strange and different to me, I will make no attempt to understand it. Instead, I must assume that this is true, and, in any case, mentioning the beloved ponies is sure to bring this article tons of delicious unique hits.
Ape Entertainment announced today that their new Strawberry Shortcake App, available on Apple devices, will bring Strawberry Shortcake #1 from 1985 to the digital screen. The comic is digitally recolored, enhancing the "fun and fruity colors that Strawberry Shortcake is known for," and the story in this issue is called The Great Pie-Baking Contest. No word on whether this is a one off or will lead to a revival of the Strawberry Shortcake franchise (for all I know, this could already be happening), but if this kind of thing is your bag, baby, check out the press release below and go download this for 99 cents.
